Are Republican's Cannibals?

I have not decided which republican to vote for in the Illinois gobernatorial primary but I am certainly put-off by Gidwiz. His accusations concerning Judy Barr Topinka are false and they are made of the kind of information Gidwiz has to know is false. Topinka’s department grew, just as he said, but only because the General Assembly resized it by statute giving her many new programs to manage and, thankfully, the people and budget to accomplish them. Without those changes, she actually reduced the size of her operation.

Concerning his accusation about her having signed all those loans – it was her job. She is required by statue to sign off on all State borrowings. These candidates really need to browse the State Constitution before they run.

To make matters worse in Tazewell County, most who vote republican are really independent conservatives and vote, unlike most Americans, on the issues rather than for a political party. Sounds like what we all should do but when you are up against the Democrat faithful, you better have it all together and not get fixated on one issue or swayed by some unsupported accusations.
