Liberals Call for Assasination

Watching the Muslim world burn and kill over a Danish cartoon has been riveting to say the least but even more interesting is the parade of Liberal Democrats calling for the President’s head for listening in on phone calls from Afghanistan and in the very same speech calling him to task for not have found and killed, killed mind you, Osama bin Laden. I always looked to the Liberals to provide those kinder and gentler references like “neutralize?” It is election time and the fight for the hearts and minds of the American voter is underway and apparently the country’s political advisors have determined that most Americans want us to kill Osama bin Laden. If I was Osama bin Laden I don’t think I could feel more important. If he wanted to be someone, we have sure fulfilled his dreams. Killing Osama bin Laden (undoubtedly first called for by a Conservative) is probably a good idea – I know there are going to be a lot of people who wish Sadam Hussain hadn’t been taken alive before his trial is over – but will it really stop terrorism? The antics I see concerning the Danish cartoon tell me there are a lot more where he came from.
